When Bengal tiger triplets were born on Halloween in 1954, perhaps the mother was spooked, because she was not able to care for them. Instead, they were hand raised by keeper Tex Freeman, who took them home with him every night, and he and his wife took turns keeping an eye on them and bottle feeding them. It gives a whole new meaning to the 2 a.m. (and 3 a.m., and 5 a.m.) feeding when the hungry recipient is hissing and growling and might just sink a canine tooth into your hand if you don't hold the bottle right!
