The Greenhouse opened at the Wild Animal Park in 1992, an enclosed, temperature- and humidity-controlled exhibit for tropical plants and birds. It was also a great spot to show off butterflies, and the Park’s first Butterfly Encounter was launched. The Greenhouse would later be expanded and renamed Hidden Jungle, home to the very popular Butterfly Jungle event that now takes place there every spring.
