As San Diegans will recall, 2007 was another bad year for wildfires in San Diego—and once again, the Wild Animal Park got burnt around the edges but escaped major injuries and loss of life. It didn't come out unscathed, though. Here, Park bird curator Michael Mace surveys some of the damage to the Condorminium facility. Everyone's main concern was that the condors were alright, but the damage did amount to thousands of dollars.
