When polar bears Olaf, Frieda, and Hilda arrived at the Zoo from Norway, they were still cubs, different ages but all about a year old. Yet they already had the powerful paws to indicate the great white bears they would become. The energetic trio made quite a splash, playing endless games of chase in and out of the pool with ease, with spectacular dives that drew gasps of admiration from Zoo visitors.
