What better way to share a passion for wildlife with a global audience than with a digital reach? Two new ways to reach out to animal lovers and conservation supporters were launched in 2011. One was San Diego Zoo Kids, a new website for kids that provided videos, species information, animal facts, conservation information, activities, games, and much more, all designed to appeal to a younger audience. Another was the launch of San Diego Zoo Global Wildlife Conservancy, a website providing information about San Diego Zoo Global’s conservation projects and what supporters can do to help—from anywhere in the world.
