The Zoo had been through hard times during the war and Dr. Harry was no longer with them, but nonetheless his plans for the Zoo were taking shape. At the right side of the photo is the entrance, then the Mirror Pool, the monkey exhibits, the bird exhibits, and the two large aviaries on either side. At the left and up are the small mammal exhibits, leading up to the grotto exhibits and the large mammal exhibits and paddocks. At the bottom of the photo is the Zoo Hospital on the far left, then Reptile Mesa, Wegeforth Bowl, and the Reptile House.
